Introduction
This Annex details the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policies of PROMETEO. These Policies are published on the website of PROMETEO where they will be kept up to date and their latest version will be published.
PROMETEO may use and keep up to date the CLIENT’s information in accordance with the Privacy Declarations.
The CLIENT gives PROMETEO permission to combine the information that enters its system in a non-individualized manner, for the purpose of improving its services or promoting them. PROMETEO may access or store information located in different places.
Data Privacy Policy
Personal information collected:
The CLIENT (User) shall provide certain personal information as a condition for Access to the platform and services of PROMETEO, that the User agrees to provide to such effects, also consenting to its collection and treatment in accordance with the applicable law.
In accordance with Uruguayan Law N 18.331, the CLIENT agrees that all the information within the registration process as USER on the Website, will be used and stored to create a data base for the provision of Services by PROMETEO.
The information abovementioned is the one provided by the CLIENT upon registration for usage of the services of PROMETEO, signature or payment for the services, support requesting, etc. The information includes, among others, registration data, name, ID, company name and trade name, email, account number or other contact information.
How is data collected?
The data will be willingly provided by the User upon registration or during the use of the Services, and may be collected via technologies such as cookies, web login, web forms, and email exchange.
Data treatment
The information the company receives, or registers will be used for the purpose o[a][b]f developing, providing, and improving the PROMETEO services.
Data transfer
The personal data will not be sold, published, or shared without the consent of the CLIENT. PROMETEO may share personal data to complete transactions or provide the required services or, when required by law or a judicial authority. Furthermore, the transfer of data will be authorized in accordance with article 28 of Law N 18.331.
PROMETEO may also share or disclose information to protect the CLIENT, maintain the security of its services, detect, prevent and/or report criminal or fraudulent activities, as well as a violation of the Terms and Conditions and to protect its rights and property. Information may be shared with affiliates or subsidiary companies.
The personal data may be stored in servers hired by PROMETEO and located in any country with an adequate level of protection.
The personal data provided by the Users will not be commercially transferred to any third party unless it is collected with its express consent.
PROMETEO will take security measures to ensure the proper conservation of the personal data, both to avoid its deviations or alterations, and to stop the access from third parties, in accordance with legal provisions. This includes physical security measures and allowing access only to PROMETEO employees and subcontractors who may need to access the data to fulfil the Services of PROMETEO’s legitimate commercial purposes, which will be subjected to confidentiality clauses and professional secrecy, in accordance with legal provisions.
The CLIENT guarantees PROMETEO that the information provided will be true and correct and is responsible for any effect of the information provided.
Notwithstanding all of the above, the CLIENT will notify PROMETEO in the event that the data or information processed in the Service must be managed differently from what is established in the Policies described herein. In such case, PROMETEO and the CLIENT will enter into a specific agreement to comply with the requirements of the Law and/or regulations.
Exercise of rights
